Our Philosophy

I started Wonders of Nature Eco Tours in 2025, with a hope of connecting people to nature in lasting and meaningful ways.

Like I’m sure many of you do, I look at the state of the world with increasing fear and confusion. Why do we keep making the same mistakes? How have we allowed our planet to be mismanaged to this level? Why do so many people seem not to notice, or not to care? And of course a resounding: What can I do about this?

I believe that the short answer to so many of my questions, is exposure and education.

People have become disconnected from our roots and from our life blood. We forget that nature nurtures, it is our clean air, our clean water, our mental health. It is vibrant, emotional and neverendingly interesting. It is home to countless other species who have as much right to survive as we do.

As our natural places shrink and our digital world expands, it’s becoming easier and easier to spend our days indoors. I want to get people back outside, into the sunshine, feeling the moss, talking to the birds. We need to reconnect with the land if we are to care about it, to understand its’ true value, and to fight for it.

Education is a central pillar of my tours. I aim to paint a picture of how complex and beautiful ecosystem interactions truly are, and of the depth of time in which we so often centre ourselves. Through providing these experiences, I hope to give people a new perspective, and a refreshed sense of motivation to do all we can to care for this one small precious planet.
